Prof. Amir Shapiro of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) is the director of the Robotics Laboratory. The lab is a center for research and development of robotics technologies for various applications. Currently, the lab is responsible for developing platforms for land and air applications; motion planning algorithms for land and air vehicles; and stabilization and motion control for air and ground vehicles.
